Dr. Amanda Myers is a chiropractic physician at Jenkins Chiropractic and Wellness. She is passionate about helping her patients live pain-free and starting them on a path toward optimal wellness. She serves her patients with conservative care using joint mobilization and manipulation, acupuncture, class IV cold laser therapy, electrical muscle stimulation, physiotherapy, and lifestyle counseling.
She knows the importance of educating her patients to help them understand their pain or discomfort and ways they can be a part of the recovery process. As a mom of two young boys, she understands how pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period can impact a woman’s health. She has found success in helping moms-to-be and women of all ages. She also routinely treats sports injuries and a variety of musculoskeletal conditions in both children and adults. With extensive experience in treating both acute injuries and chronic pain, she is equipped to help alleviate discomfort and restore function effectively and efficiently. Dr. Amanda Myers has treated and managed numerous conditions ranging from acute disc extrusions and rheumatologic diseases to post-operative joint rehabilitation and severe nerve impingement conditions.
As a licensed chiropractic physician, she has extensive knowledge and experience in providing a natural approach to improving your health. During your first visit, she will review your health history and listen to your health concerns. You will also receive a thorough evaluation that will help her determine what might be causing and contributing to your condition. Lastly, she will make recommendations for a custom plan of care. Each patient is unique and your visit is as well. She also works closely with a network of medical specialists to ensure her patients get the care they need. Dr. Amanda Myers also utilizes routine and advanced diagnostics and imaging to assist in making an accurate diagnosis.
Dr. Amanda Myers completed her postgraduate education at National University of Health Sciences and holds Doctor of Chiropractic and Master of Acupuncture degrees. While in school, she served as the Vice President of the Student American Chiropractic Association and co-chaired the 2019 National Leadership Conference. With her passion for teaching, she worked as a Histology and Neuroanatomy teaching assistant and tutor. Throughout her education, she participated in National advocacy efforts to advance patient rights and access to chiropractic care.
Outside of practice, she loves to spend time with her two sons and husband. She also enjoys cooking for her family, swimming, and running.
